CareerFest
2013 Summary
The annual OFIC CareerFest was held on Friday, February 1, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio at the Aladdin Shrine Center. The purpose of CareerFest is to bring students and alumni from OFIC's 34 member institutions to meet with OFIC's donor companies and organizations in one central location to discuss internship and employment opportunities.
This year employers increased to 121 organizations - businesses, corporations, non-profit groups, and government agencies - an increase of 2% (including 24 new exhibitors) and and over 1,200 students registered from 30 of our campuses to discuss permanent employment and internship opportunities.
Any student who registered but could not attend received all of the employer contact information for their employment search.
CareerFest 2014 has been scheduled for February 7th in the same location, and our goal is to achieve at least a 5% growth in employers and students.
