"This scholarship has helped to lighten the load of paying for my higher education. With two handicapped parents who help as much as they can with expenses, it is still difficult for us. We appreciate your generosity and are very thankful for this scholarship!"
The Ohio Scholars Program® is now one of the largest and most comprehensive scholarship services in Ohio. To date, over 20,000 scholarships have been awarded with a cumulative total value of more than $35 million. With proven processes and procedures and long-standing relationships with college and university admissions and financial aid offices, OFIC is uniquely positioned to manage scholarship services
Design a Scholarship
All student scholars must qualify for financial aid, be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program at an OFIC member college or university, be a US citizen and hold a minimum 2.8/4.0 GPA.
Step 1: Name and design your scholarship
Criteria for scholarships can include any or all of the following: campus, gender, ethnicity, county of residence, major, high school, and GPA. If desired, additional criteria may be considered.
Step 2: Make your contribution
Typical individual student scholarships begin at $3,300. The average OFIC scholarship donor provides 4 annual student scholarships (roughly $13,200).
