OFIC Welcomes Erin Nunn Fairman as Director of Talent Connections

Career services and talent acquisition professional to strengthen connections between employers, students, and OFIC member campuses

Erin Nunn Fairman, Director of Talent Connections

The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) welcomes Erin Nunn Fairman as Director of Talent Connections. Fairman has built her career around helping people find their way in the world of work. She connects talent with meaningful opportunities and helps organizations meet their workforce needs.

Fairman spent more than a decade in career services at public and independent colleges and universities across Ohio. In those roles, she led career services teams, ran internship and experiential learning programs, coached students, and built partnerships with employers. For the past several years, she has worked in talent acquisition and career transition coaching, partnering with hiring managers, job seekers, and professionals across many industries.

Her time on both sides of the hiring process gives her a clear view of what employers look for and what students need to succeed. She does her best work when she is building relationships and bringing employers, colleges, and community partners together to open doors for students.

Fairman holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ashland University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University.

"Erin understands what employers need and what students need to get there," said Bill Spiker, President of OFIC. "Her years in career services and talent acquisition make her a natural fit to lead our Talent Connections work. We are excited to see the partnerships she will build for our member campuses and their students."

Welcome, Erin!
