OFIC 2025 Summit

Creating SPACE

Explore new SPACE with us.

Thursday, August 7, 2025 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Leading is always challenging, but leading in ever-changing and highly-polarized sectors can feel almost impossible.

We invite you to join us in exploring new leadership SPACE at the 2025 OFIC Summit—an interactive, confidential, no-recording working session designed for reflection, growth, and practical change.

You'll learn and practice tools for having honest conversations, managing conflict, and leading with clarity—then leave ready to apply those skills in your own organization and community.

The Summit is not about one topic or a single conversation. It's about building your capacity to create the kind of space where meaningful dialogue with peers and colleagues can happen.

A collaborative effort between:

What is SPACE? We’re redefining leadership “space” as the intentional environment you create—through your mindset, choices, and presence—for real conversations and meaningful connection.

Why Attend?

Hear from the day’s session leader, Daniel Juday.

Morning Sessions:

Settling into the Space: Welcome & Agenda

We’ll set the stage for the day, creating alignment around our agenda, and building some ground rules to protect our boundaries and privacy while also acknowledging the weight of the work that brings us into the room, and the need for meaningful engagement around it.

Supporting Reflectivity: Values & Motivators

We’ll wrestle with questions like how our experiences lead us toward certain assumptions about our intent, how we understand that intent and align it (or not) to our decisions, and how the nature of history and social structures complicate our leadership in shared spaces.

Provoking Engagement: Questions & Conflict

We’ll explore what it means to become master question-askers and skilled listeners, all in an effort to earnestly engage in conflict as both a direction toward collaboration rather than a dead-end argument and as an eager willingness to seek connection above comfort.

Lunch Break - Provided by OFIC

Afternoon Sessions:

Accepting Ownership: Curiosity & Accountability

We’ll acknowledge that asking good questions and engaging in conflict open us to learning, and we’ll explore how to converge “I knew that,” “I didn’t know that,” and “I didn’t know that I didn't know that” in a learning journey that often feels as messy as it does meaningful.

Casting Vision: Now & Next

We’ll expand our capacity to identify the legacy of our now - what our ruts and rhythms are - and how they both buoy and blind us, and we’ll talk about how to wrestle with what “better” looks like as we think about what our next might be, and how to catalyze others toward it.

Enacting Change: Effort & Transformation

We’ll collaborate together to design our next best actions, determining what shared tools are at our disposal, what we might need to lean out of that we’ve become accustomed to, and where we want to lean into to-do items that move us toward our next.
