Join OFIC as the Office and Administration Coordinator (Part-Time, Hybrid)
The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) is seeking a detail-oriented, service-minded Office and Administration Coordinator to join our team. This part-time, non-exempt position provides administrative, customer service, and coordination support across OFIC operations, with a particular focus on scholarship administration, office management, and event support.
About the Role
The Office and Administration Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations at OFIC. This position serves as a primary point of contact for general inquiries and supports scholarship programs, events, and office functions. The role works closely with the scholarship administration team and other staff to support students, donors, member campuses, and partners.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with 2–3 days per week required in the office at Otterbein University’s The Point.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator for the OFIC office at Otterbein’s The Point, including managing mail, phones, office supplies, and in-office project support.
Manage general inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and strong customer service.
Provide administrative support for OFIC scholarship programs, including scholarship data entry and record maintenance in Salesforce, application review support, and coordination of student thank-you letter projects.
Assist, as part of a team, with planning and execution of OFIC events and meetings.
Support additional operational areas as assigned, such as Salesforce and Experience Cloud support.
Maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with staff, trustees, and member campuses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be substituted.
At least two years of administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit, higher education, or fundraising environment.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage inquiries effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Position Details
Compensation: $30 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Part-time, ongoing (not seasonal)
Pay: Bi-weekly via ADP
