Summer Kickoff: Non-Profit Internship Program
OFIC is proud to congratulate the 12 outstanding students selected for non-profit internship opportunities across Lorain County and Stark County this summer. Thanks to the generous support of Employers Health and the Nord Family Foundation through our internship program, these students will gain valuable hands-on experience while making meaningful contributions to local non-profit organizations.
Insider Innovations @ ICAA Summer Conference: Registration Now Open!
Join OFIC and the Independent College Advancement Associates (ICAA) this July for a day of professional development at The Point at Otterbein University. Now in its third consecutive year, this partnership brings together professionals from advancement, alumni relations, and career services to connect, learn, and share best practices. Registration is now open! The cost to attend is $25.
Event Recap: OCEA Spring Conference
The Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA) welcomed education, industry, government, and non-profit leaders from across Ohio to its spring conference May 13-15 in Columbus. The event highlighted innovative strategies and partnerships that expand work-based learning opportunities for students statewide.
OFIC Network: OCEA Award Honorees
OFIC celebrates the strong partnerships that connect students with career opportunities across Ohio. This year, OCEA recognized Crown Equipment Corporation as its 2026 Legacy Employer of the Year and Ashland University's Carrie Hartsel as New Educator of the Year.
