NACE President Coming to Ohio - Register Today!
Join us Wednesday, October 21, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. for a complimentary luncheon and working session with Shawn VanDerziel, President & CEO of NACE, at Baldwin Wallace University.
Shawn will lead a practical conversation on the evolving pathway from college to career, including hiring trends, graduate outcomes, internships, skills-based hiring, and the impact of AI on recruiting and career readiness.
Come hear from a national leader, connect with peers, and leave with actionable ideas to support your students and strengthen connections with employers.
New Pilot Program - AmeriCorps VISTA
OFIC is thrilled to partner with AmeriCorps as a newly approved participant in the VISTA program! Through this exciting pilot, we’ll be working with 10 member campuses to strengthen resources and support for first- and second-year students, with a focus on students who are low-income, first-generation, or undecided about their major and career pathway. Together, we aim to help students navigate their first years of college and foster stronger first-to-second year retention. We’re excited to get started and will be sharing more about this initiative in the coming weeks and months!
TalentedU - AY 26-27 is Live
ICYMI: The next iteration of TalentedU is live with even more content and resources to support students on their path to career success! Member campuses are incorporating TalentedU into courses, student organizations, workshops, student employee tasks, and more.
We’re excited about the expanded Career and Self-Development module and the new Finance module, featuring content from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. If your campus isn’t using this free resource yet, now is a great time to explore all that TalentedU has to offer.
Reminder, TalentedU AY 25-26 will sunset on September 30.
